Hello, Lovely.

Those two words have been part of my vocabulary for years. Long before they became the name of my business, they were simply a way of greeting someone with warmth.

When it came time to name this creative venture, nothing else felt quite right.

To me, Hello Lovely is more than a name. It’s a feeling. A warm hello. A welcoming smile. An open heart. It’s about slowing down, celebrating creativity, and finding beauty in the little things.

That idea has quietly guided me throughout my life as an artist.

I’ve spent most of my life making things. Some ideas have flourished, while others quietly taught me something before leading me in a different direction. Every step has shaped the artist I am today, and somehow they’ve all led me here.

Whether it’s a hand-drawn sticker, a piece of jewellery, a linocut print, or something entirely new, every piece begins with an idea and is thoughtfully made. My hope is that what I create brings a little beauty, creativity, and joy into your everyday life.

This little corner of the internet is where I’ll share that journey.

The goal here is to share something often. Some weeks there will be new artwork, new projects, or stories from the studio. Other weeks, there may simply be quiet progress happening behind the scenes.

Creativity isn’t always measured by what gets finished. Sometimes it’s found in the sketchbook that’s slowly filling up, the idea that isn’t quite ready yet, the project that takes three attempts to get right, or the lesson learned from something that didn’t go as planned.

You may not always see what’s happening behind the scenes, but something is almost always taking shape.
